Thiénot Champagne belongs to the family group Alain Thiénot.
Whenever a ship is launched, a great love is celebrated or a party is held, champagne is always part of the party. Like hardly any other wine, it has fascinated generations of connoisseurs. Alain Thiénot has been running his small but highly refined champagne house for just one generation. After his father as manager and his grandfather as bottle maker had already earned their living with the noble sparkling wine, Alain Thiénot, a banker by training, was drawn back to his roots in the mid-eighties: He purchased vineyards near Ay and Mesnil-sur-Oger and started to prepare his own champagne. From the beginning, he wanted to build up his house as a family business. That's why his daughter Garance and his son Stanislas are permanent fixtures at Champagne Thiénot. In the Thiénot Brut, the three noble varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier enter into a perfect union. Look forward to this noble champagne full of race and elegance. He gives you pleasure in the highest perfection.
The dream of your own champagne house
It takes courage to found your own champagne house when the first houses began to exist more than three centuries ago. Alain Thiénot demonstrated courage, but also inspiration and ambition to do just that.
With almost 20 years of experience as a wine broker in Champagne, he had acquired a deep knowledge of the vineyards by combing the slopes in constant search of wines (which revealed the best expressions of each cru vineyard). Originally invited by the great champagne houses to seek only the rare and exceptional from breeders, and from this experience, Alain sowed the seeds of a dream in Thiénot to create his own champagne house.
By 1985, Alain Thiénot had developed his project and created his champagne house of the same name. Thanks to his good contacts with the winegrowers, he was able to guarantee an exceptional supply of grabs.
A precise adventure and a challenge that has paid off: Thiénot Champagne has found its place among the largest champagne houses, where quality comes before quantity, creativity before tradition.
And it is this long road to success that forms the foundation of the Champagne House, especially its family values and independence.
Today, the Thiénot Champagne is in the hands of Stanislas and Garance, the company's leaders and ambassadors. Alain Thiénot, always at their side, continues to share his knowledge and secrets and Stanislas and Garance work together to develop the house and ensure the long-term prospects of the family business and its quest for excellence. They continue to maintain the privileged relations with French chefs initiated by Alain Thiénot and develop these contacts throughout the world.
Stanislas - Before merging his path with that of the family business, Stanislas perfected his wine knowledge with extensive professional experience abroad. Today Managing Director and brand ambassador of Champagne Thiénot alongside his sister Garance, he uses his youth and ambition to his advantage to lead and ensure the long-term success of the family business. Stanislas is passionately involved in the production of every single champagne in the range and oversees the unmistakable style of Thiénot wines: Finesse, fruit and freshness.
Garance - Managing Director, focuses on marketing and communication within Champagne Thiénot. With her strong artistic flair, she is passionately creative, which fits well with the contemporary and modern image of the Champagne House. And with her viticulture certificate, she supports the production of Thiénot Champagne every year together with her father and brother. In her role as ambassador of the Maison Thiénot, whose name she proudly bears, Garance travels the world and is dedicated to the introduction and promotion of Thiénot Champagne.
