Pétillant

French term for a slightly foaming wine around 2 bar pressure, such as an Italian Prosecco frizzante wine. The increase of pétillant is crémant. In terms of pressure, a crémant is below the usual pressure of champagnes or sparkling wines, which have about 5-6 bar pressure.
