Deutz Champagne
THE CHAMPAGNE PRODUCER DEUTZ WAS FOUNDED IN 1838 IN AŸ. HIS CUVÉE IS AMOUR DE DEUTZ.
DEUTZ BELONGS TO FAMILY GROUP LOUIS RŒDERER.
The champagne house Deutz was founded in 1838 in Ay by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, both born in the imperial city of Aachen. In 1906, the Lallier family took over the management of the house, which still leads the fortunes of Deutz today. The basis of the great success of the Deutz brand is its extensive vineyard holdings. Gradually, over generations, the company bought parcel after parcel in de Champagne. Deutz is one of the few houses with significant own vineyard property. This treasure offers the prerequisite to Champagne to produce at the highest level. "Elegance, finesse and subtlety": these are the terms that characterize the style of Champagne Deutz. Meanwhile, the house Deutz is one of the absolute top addresses in Champagne, which is consistently showered with praise in the trade press. The wine has a complex color with a strong salmon color and a fine perlage. The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranate and red currants. The palate presents a delicate, full body, which is followed by a perfect nose. The aromas are reminiscent of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The finish has a pleasant acidity which gives the wine finesse. The wine was on the lees for almost three years. This gives harmonious soft aromas, which give this Brut Rosé a typical fine nose and a very interesting blend of softness and freshness on the tongue.
